Partagas Salomones is a hand-rolled Cuban cigar in the salomon shape, a double perfecto that tapers at both ends. It measures 7¼ inches (184mm) with a 57 ring gauge, and the wrapper, binder and filler are all Cuban. Habanos S.A. sells it in boxes of 10, with the full flavour Partagas is known for.
What Is Partagas Salomones?
Partagas Salomones is a hand-rolled Cuban double perfecto measuring 7¼ x 57, made with all-Cuban tobacco and rated medium to full in strength. The salomon shape is one of the hardest formats to roll, so only skilled torcedores make it. Partagas first released this vitola in 2008 as part of its regular range.
What Does Partagas Salomones Taste Like?
Cigar Aficionado reviewers describe toasty nuts, including walnut, almond and marzipan, with earthy, herbal and fruity notes. Expect an evolving smoke with savoury depth. The burn can start uneven and then settle as the shape widens.
How Long Does Partagas Salomones Last?
This is a long smoke, often 90 minutes or more because of the 57 ring gauge and 7¼ inch length. Plan for an unhurried session. A slow pace keeps the flavor balanced from start to finish.
